Purchasing Assistant
SUMMARY:
The Purchasing Assistant assists the Purchasing Department with sourcing, procuring, and managing of goods and services, such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, and supplies, vital for our manufacturing operations. Assists the Receiving Department with unloading, receiving and accurately recording incoming shipments of goods and services and the Inventory Department with maintaining accurate and acceptable inventory levels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Provide administrative support to the Purchasing team.
- Assist the buyers with entering purchase orders, reviewing open orders, and updating supplier price lists.
- Assist with maintaining status of orders.
- Assist with maintaining records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories.
- Assist with unloading, receiving and recording incoming shipments of goods and services.
- Assist with inspecting incoming deliveries for damage and fraud and to verify accuracy.
- Assist with entering data concerning goods received and inventory into the company’s database and maintaining accurate records of received goods.
- Communicate with operations regarding inventory management, quality control, and logistics as needed.
- Assist with accurately reporting and tracking physical inventory.
- Participate in inventory process and audits; research and help to resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Work with Accounts Payable and Shipping/Receiving department to resolve payment/receiving issues.
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the purchasing, receiving and inventory management departments; Assist said departments as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Welder
SUMMARY:
The Welder has primary responsibility is TIG and/or MIG welding of aluminum and steel parts. Each job must be run with safety, accuracy, and timeliness in the welding area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Plans details of work order procedures; gathers required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job.
- Repairs and fabricates various items and equipment using cutting, burning, and welding techniques and equipment.
- Prepares, assembles, and tacks weld parts and surfaces to be welded.
- Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area.
- Must be able to properly and safely lift up to 50 lbs. pounds.
- Employee will not lift by self any items over 50lbs, you will ask for assistance.
- You will familiarize yourself with proper lifting and turning procedures using legs –not your back.
- Must be able to properly and safely operate machinery, as trained and authorized to do so by the company.
- Do not use machinery that you are not familiar with and have not been instructed in proper use techniques.
- Welding helmet, gloves, apron, and safety glasses MUST be worn at all times.
- Hearing protection MUST be used in any high noise areas, welding, grinding, hammering, air press, and cutting areas.
- DO NOT look at the welding area with naked eyes, as even a glace can cause damage. Always wear properly approved safety glasses to view the welding arc.
- You must wear an N95 dust/mist respirator mask when welding, cutting or grinding.
- You must wear rubber sole – leather type work shoes (no sneakers). Full-length pants and long sleeves shirts with forearms protectors (or) suitable welding jacket (or) welding apron and sleeves (no sleeveless shirts permitted).
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
GENERAL EXPECTATIONS:
Must be physically able to lift 50lbs. Must be able to perform the job in a standing position for a length of shift. Must have welding experience using Tig/Mig Welder and adjusting amps on the welding machine. Must be able to use 1-2 lbs. hammer.
This is semi-strenuous work requiring good correct vision, lifting, stooping, kneeling, bending, reaching, pulling, tuning, and walking from one workstation to another.
All safety procedures must be followed, and equipment worn properly.

Job description
SUMMARY: The General Production Worker completes various tasks in their designated department. Departments include Finishing, Parts, Grinding, Strapping, Upholstery, Assembly, Table Tops, Packing, and Shipping.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete various tasks and duties as assigned correctly and on time.
- Use only established procedures for assigned tasks.
- Inspect your work for quality and to make sure it meets specifications.
- Keep work area clean and picked up.
- Always strive to increase productivity.
- Pay close attention to any machinery you may be operating & make sure it is operating properly. Notify your supervisor as soon as you notice the machine not operating properly.

Customer Service/Order Entry Clerk
SUMMARY:
The Customer Service/Order Entry Clerk provides administrative and service support to customers, sales reps and the customer service department. Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:45 PM.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
CUSTOMER SERVICE/ORDER ENTRY DUTIES:
- Process incoming orders in computer system(s) within 24 – 48 hours from receipt.
- Audit orders for accuracy (price, quantity, style, description, color, etc.).
- Make necessary corrections to customer orders for accuracy.
- Acknowledge customer orders within 72 hours from receipt.
- Operate office machines such as computers, adding, calculating and copy machines.
- Input and retrieve data from computer programs.
- Compile, prepare and create reports for presentation.
- Must be able to communicate and work with other factory departments on a regular basis.
- Service customers and sales rep inquiries via phone, fax and/or e-mail (order status, product availability, lead-time, anticipated delays, etc.).
- Prepare and send miscellaneous correspondence to customers and sales reps.
- Participate in departmental group meetings.
- Travel to and provide customer service at tradeshows/OW Lee showrooms as needed.
- Work with shipping liaison and/or alone to create/obtain a written freight quote for customers.
- Confer with the production scheduler, sales, shipping liaison and/or shipper to expedite, trace and/or track delayed shipments.
- Daily filing of open orders and invoices.
- Other duties as assigned.
